A Prayer Shawl Ministry is being started at Morgan Park UMC.  What is a Prayer Shawl Ministry?  It is a group of people who meet together to knit (or crochet) shawls to be given to people with special circumstances--happy or sad--such as births, weddings, illness, or crisis.  The shawls are special because they are made with prayers before they are begun, while they are being made, and after they are completed.

We will meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Mondays from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the parlor.  You are invited to join us.  Beginners are welcome.  For more specific information talk to Barabara Malcolm (773-238-1222) or Anne Genther (773-881-1788).
