The next Film Discussion group is Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.

All are invited to a Film Showing on Saturday, May 5th, at 5:30 p.m. in the church parlor. We will view the 2014 historical drama, “The Imitation Game”.

The Academy Award nominated film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as real-life British cryptanalyst Alan Turing.  In 1939, newly created British intelligence agency MI6 recruits Cambridge mathematics alumnus Turing to crack Nazi codes, including Enigma — which cryptanalysts had thought unbreakable. Turing and team finally succeed and become heroes during World War II, but in 1952, the quiet genius encounters disgrace when authorities reveal he is gay and sentence him for indecency.

Come; and enjoy the discussion, food, and fellowship. Light refreshments will be served. Bring a dish to share potluck style.

The community is invited to come; and enjoy the film, the discussion, and fellowship.  All are welcome to join the fun and join the lively and thought provoking discussion, and fellowship.

Our last Film Discussion Group was on January 6, 2018 where spirited discussion was held around the film “Jesus Camp”.
