This year’s tour will begin at Morgan Park United Methodist Church, 11030 S. Longwood Dr., a historic church designed by noted architect Harry Hale Waterman, and will feature an optional stop at Ridge Historical Society to view the current exhibit about Waterman’s unique contribution to the built form of Beverly/Morgan Park dating back to the late 1800s.
Our beloved church building has served as a place of worship, fellowship, and community for 113 years – as long as our original boiler, which is now nearing the end of its lifespan.
