Everyone Belongs  Hats (and Scarfs) for the Homeless VIII In this season of giving, help us bring love, hope and joy to the homeless, by donating hand knitted or crocheted hats and scarfs, as well as purchased items to Morgan Park United Methodist Church’s Advent Program.  We are collecting socks, also, all of which will be given to local shelters as Christmas gifts for the homeless.  The program will run until December 6th.  Items may be dropped off at the church, 11030 S. Morgan Park United Methodist Church 138th  Anniversary Celebration Sunday, May 25th, 2025 Morgan Park United Methodist Church held its first Sunday service on May 22nd, 1887, with forty-two persons in attendance.  The church was formed at the urging of a devout Methodist, Dr.William Henry German, aided by another founding member, Frank Robinson.
